The Blue Skies cocktail is all about the taste of lemon and orange. It’s citrus and bubbly, and served over ice, which makes it wonderful for warm days.
This is a British recipe, so when it calls for lemonade, it’s referring to a carbonated beverage. Lemonade in the US is flat, so to my fellow Americans, I recommend adding some club soda to your flat lemonade to get the same effect.
Of course you can just use flat lemonade, but I think this one is a lot more fun with bubbles.
We recommend a lemon soda by Pelligrino in the recipe. It’s close to British what lemonade is like, and it will definitely taste delicious in the drink.
This is a gorgeous drink that looks like blue skies. The flavor is simply lemon and orange. It’s great to cool off with on a hot day – perfect for the poolside.
