Peach Fizz Drink Recipe

By MixThatDrink

The Peach Fizz is a cocktail that goes down easy. It’s just peach and lemon with a little bit of sweeteners and some soda water to liven it up.

But simple is often the best way to go. It’s mellow and just a little bit sweet and tart, so it’s one of those drinks that always sounds pretty good.

Peach schnapps is the main ingredient in this one, but you don’t need to love peach schnapps to enjoy this drink The lemon juice cuts the sweetness and brightens it up.

Try a Peach Fizz the next time you’re in the mood for something fruity but not too heavy citrus. Peach makes such a wonderful flavor for drinks.

This is an easygoing fruity little cocktail with some fizz to it. But for an extra treat, it also has a sugar rim which can be a lot of fun.

We’ve got a tutorial on how to rim glasses if you need it. It shows two methods – with a rimmer dish or a regular saucer – and there’s a video if you prefer that to text and images.

You’ll see that this recipe calls for gum or gomme syrup. It tastes similar to a simple syrup, but it has gum for added texture and viscosity.

You can definitely substitute simple syrup for it, but be sure to give the gum syrup a try sometime. It adds something nice and rich to the experience of the cocktail.
