You might expect a drink called Cowboy Roy to feature corn whiskey and saddle soap, but no. It’s mainly orange juice, with plenty of vodka and rum.
That makes it an alternative to the Screwdriver, and a nice drink to enjoy by the pool or anytime you’re in the mood for orange juice. In this drink, the better quality vodka and rum you use, the better it will taste. A good, aged, gold rum will add some interesting notes to this one.
Recipe
- 2 ounces vodka
- 2 ounces rum
- 6 ounces orange juice
Pour all ingredients into a cocktail glass and stir. Garnish with orange.
