The Hadrian’s Wall cocktail blends orange juice with a considerable amount of scotch and Galliano. It’s a sweet, spicy, tart combination.
The earthy or smoky notes of the scotch tend to get lost in this drink, so what comes through is sweetened citrus with some spicy notes. This is a great drink for just before dinner, to get the appetite going. It’s also great for poolside or anywhere on a hot day.
Recipe
- 2 ounces scotch
- 1 ounce Galliano
- 4 ounces orange juice
Pour the orange juice into a highball glass. Next pour in the scotch, and float the Galliano on top.
