The Fiery German is a simple shot to pour, but the flavor is complex. It features the herbal notes of Jägermeister (often described as something like black licorice) and the spice of cinnamon.

You don’t need to like Jägermeister straight up to like this drink, but I suspect you will need to like the flavor of black licorice, because it comes through clearly. The cinnamon balances it out and create a whole new flavor between the two, but the anise flavor is still fairly strong.
