The Gin Flourish cocktail features notes of black currant, lemon and orange, blended together to form a flavor that’s slightly sweet but distinctly citrus.
Blackcurrant sodas can also be a little bit hard to find, but Teisseire makes one you can find on Amazon (there’s a link in the recipe). If you can’t find one in your area and don’t want to order one online, I’ve included a mix involving club soda and blackcurrant syrup.
It’s just such a great flavor – kind of like grape, but more rich and less sweet. Kind of like creme de cassis, but with bubbles.
Enjoy a Gin Flourish the next time you’re in the mood for a gin cocktail. It goes very well with flavorful foods (we paired it with Blue Stilton and Toscana cheeses, which are extremely flavorful).

This drink is such an easy one to make. That makes it perfect for parties. You can actually mix the gin and Citronge together a head of time to cut out a step.
Then you let guests serve themselves by pouring equal amounts of the blackcurrant soda and the gin/Citronge mixture. Couldn’t be easier, and you get to spend less time tending bar and more time enjoying yourself.
