I think of the Tequila Matador as the drink you’d have after a bullfight ended the way you’d hoped – whether you were rooting for the matador or the bull.
This drink comes in a champagne flute, making it seem like a celebration of some sort. The combination of tequila with pineapple and lime juices makes it reminiscent of a margarita, but it’s definitely a unique and distinctive flavor. It makes a nice afternoon pick-me-up.
Recipe
- 1 1/2 ounces tequila
- 3 ounces pineapple juice
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and pour in the ingredients. Shake until chilled, and strain into a champagne flute.
