Mackenzie

By MixThatDrink

The Mackenzie cocktail pits four ounces of hard liquor against about six and a half ounces of fruit juice. There can be only one winner in this game, and it is you.

Mackenzie drink on table with oranges

This drink is a combination of sweet and sharp notes. It’s got a nice bite because the mixers bring out the citrus notes in the gin.

Recipe

  • 4 ounces dry gin
  • 4 ounces cranberry juice
  • 2 ounces orange juice
  • juice of a quarter lime

Fill a collins glass halfway with ice. Squeeze your lime juice into it.Pour the gin into the glass, followed by the cranberry juice. Fill it up the rest of the way with orange juice and toss in the squeezed lime. Serve with a straw.
