The Butter Cream is one of those creamy, sweet cocktails that’s rich and smooth and sumptuous. Butterscotch schnapps gives it just enough flavor to avoid being boring.
If you like milk-based cocktails, this is definitely one to check out. The butterscotch balances the Baileys nicely, and the milk just makes all the flavors that much more mellow and delicious. But if this is just not sweet enough for you, make a batch of homemade oreos to go with them. (Don’t worry about the part where he says they’re relatively healthy – I was part of his test group, and lord have mercy, they were tasty!)
Recipe
- 1 ounce butterscotch schnapps
- 1 ounce Baileys Irish cream
- 2 ounces milk
- crushed ice
Pour the butterscotch schnapps and Baileys irish cream into an old-fashioned glass, and stir. Pour milk over the top of the mixture. Add some crushed ice at the end. Let the drink sit for a minute so the milk and ice mix into it, and then serve.
